INGREDIENTS
1 ripe pineapple, peeled and cut in pieces
1/4 cup of water
1/4 cup of maple syrup
1 tbsp of fresh basil, chased
PREPARATION
1. In a pan, combine the pineapple with the maple syrup and water.
2. Cook covered over low heat while stirring occasionally for 45 minutes or until the water has evaporated.
3. Remove from heat and add basil. Let cool before serving.
