How to host the perfect brunch 🥂

Created in collaboration with Margaux

There’s something so special about inviting people over for brunch. With a bit of prep and the right menu, it’s totally possible to create a brunch that feels both low-key and lovely.

These tips are our go-to for creating that magic without the chaos 🪄 — plus, we’re sharing two easy brunch recipes that are perfect for prepping ahead.

Our favorite tips for hosting brunch

1. Keep the guest list simple

A smaller guest list = less stress. Invite people who know you well — and if they’re helpful in the kitchen, even better!

2. Choose recipes that can be made ahead of time

Nothing beats waking up knowing most of the work is already done. Some of our favorite make-ahead options include:

• PB&J-style overnight oats

• Matcha and white chocolate cookie bars

• Chocolate Pancakes with coffee whipped cream & granola

These dishes are easy to prep the night before and leave us more time to sip coffee the morning of.

3. Stick to simple, comforting recipes

Now’s not the time to test a complicated new dish. The key to stress-free hosting? Cooking things we’re already comfortable making. Think cozy, familiar flavors with a few fun twists — and don’t forget to plan a couple of customizable elements so guests can make their plates their own.

4. Select a morning playlist

Let’s be real — the wrong playlist can totally throw off the mood. Choose calm, feel-good music to create an ambiance. Something acoustic, jazzy, or indie usually hits the spot.

5. Offer a toppings bar

We love a good DIY moment. Think yogurt parfait stations, toast bars, or even topping bowls for oats. A few options for fruit, nuts, spreads, and spices make the whole thing feel personalized and a little more special.

6. Don’t sleep on the table setting

Thrifted dishes, linen napkins, and fresh produce as décor — it doesn’t take much to create a wow moment at the table.
